James Henshaw, Commercial Director Vice Press said, “As long as I have been able to read, 2000 AD has been a huge part of my life. The characters and stories featured in its pages were what introduced me to not only comics but also a broad variety of artists and creatives. I am immensely proud that Vice Press will be celebrating 2000 AD’s great legacy with our art and screen prints.”
Matt Ferguson, Creative Director vice Press said “2000 AD is hugely important to me, reading the comics as a child and then again as an adult they are something I go back to time after time. For me those comics are right up there in terms of the impact and influence they have had on pop culture. Not just because of the amazing characters and stories but also because of the talent that came from the publications early days, John Wagner, Pat Mills, Alan Grant, Ian Gibson, Mike McMahon, Carlos Ezquerra, Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, and Simon Bisley… the list is endless. I am really excited about hopefully adding to that list with some of the art we put out through Vice Press.”
Vice Press will be start to release artwork from the series from June 2015.
