Devolver Digital Announce EGX Rezzed 2015 Line Up
Devolver Digital have released the full line up of games they will be showcasing at EGX Rezzed 2015 in March. From pigeon love interests to bunny mayors there’s a lot to be seen at the Devolver Digital stand this year.
Enter the Gungeon (Dodge Roll Games) – PC/PS4
One gun to rule them all…your quest in Enter the Gungeon is to track down the gun above all other guns – a gun that can kill the past! You’ll choose from one of many ‘Gungeoneers’ each with a dark history, and a desire for the gun to erase it. You’ll navigate through dungeons and chambers trying to find it, encountering bizarre weapons along the way – including one that shoots rainbows.
NOCT (c3sk) – PC
NOCT is a minimalist survival horror funded by Kickstarter. You’ll be looking down on the post-apocalyptic world through a thermal imaging satelite. The goal of the game is to do whatever you can to protect the single survivor as they journey across the barren wasteland.
RONIN (Tomasz Waclawek) – PC
RONIN is a turn-based ninja action game which follows a ruthless heroine hellbent on taking down the five leaders of a powerful corporation. You can go in katana blazing or stealthily take out your opponents. The game will be made up of 15 elaboratemissions for you to explore.
Titan Souls (Acid Nerve) – PC/PS4/Vita
Scattered amongst ruins and guarded by titans are pieces of Titan Souls, the spiritual source and sum of all living things. You’ll play as a solitary hero, armed with but a single arrow is once again assembling shards of the Titan Soul in a quest for truth and power.
Not A Hero (Roll7) – PC/PS4/Vita
From the creators of OlliOlli, Not A Hero is due for release on PC on May 7th with PS4 and Vita to follow later in the year. The game follows Steve, a professional assassin working as a campaign manager for wannabe mayor and rabbit BunnyLord. The game is a cover-based shooter that shows Steve shooting down the issues of the city (literally) in order to clean up the distrcits and garner votes for his boss.
The Talos Principle (Croteam) – PC/PS4
The Talos Principle asks players to assume the role of a sentient being placed within a simulation of humanity’s greatest ruins and linked together through an arcane cathedral. Players are tasked with solving a series of increasingly complex puzzles woven into a philosophic allegory about intelligence and meaning in an inevitably doomed world.
Broforce (Free Lives) – PC/PS4
Broforce brings the shock and awe as gamers across the globe take control of an under-funded, over-powered paramilitary organization dealing exclusively in excessive force. Play with up to four friends, locally and online, in non-stop, explosive run ‘n’ gun action and eliminate the terrorist forces that threaten our way of life.
A Fistful of Gun (FarmerGnome) – PC
A Fistful of Gun is an epic tale of vengeance set against a brilliantly colorful American frontier full of dangerous cutthroats. Select one of 11 unique playable gunslingers and seek revenge as a lone wolf or with up to eight other bandits in local and online co-op. Master the specialized controls of each character, collect gold from fallen foes to purchase upgrades, and imbibe a bit of liquid courage and unleash a tornado of lead across the dusty plains.
Hatoful Boyfriend (Mediatonic) – PC/PS4/Vita
It’s safe to safe without a doubt that Hatoful Boyfriend is the world’s best pigeon dating game. This interactive adaptation of Hato Moa’s visual novel explores the struggles and insecurites of the only human student’s love life at a school for birds. After a successful release on PC earlier this year this will shortly be finding it’s way onto PS4 and Vita.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number
Last but most certainly not least is Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number. The creators of the series have been busy launching a digital comic that ties in with both Hotline Miami and the upcoming sequel. The game will make an appearance at the Devolver Digital stand at Rezzed. I’d queue early if I were you as this is likely to be one of the most sought after games of the event!
Gambitious Digital Entertainment will also be showcasing games alongside Devolver Digital with 3D puzzle-shooter Magnetic (PC) and zombie shooter Breach & Clear: Deadline (PC). Both of which will be launching this year and are getting their European demo debut at Rezzed.
