Fallout 4: Bethesda Conference
After an exciting first showcase at E3 Bethesda have given us a ton of brand new information for Fallout 4. Let’s take a look at what we learned.
Fallout 4 will begin before the war
The game, along with the character creation and personality adjustments will begin before the nuclear war decimates the country. Of course, you can choose to play as either male or female with diverse character creation choices, powered by facial sculpting rather than sliders. After the opening sequence the game will continute 200 years later, where you are the sole survivor.
Dynamic gameplay
The gameplay, along with the dialogue and interactions are completely dynamic, you can react how you like to everything. Even your dog, who will take orders and act as your companion. Not to mention that you can play in first person or third person, whichever suits you best.
Return of the Pipboy
A Fallout game wouldn’t be complete without a Pipboy! This one is new and improved and can even play mini games to add a little retro to the post apocalyptic world. What I’m pretty excited about is the announcement that the collector’s edition of the game will come with its very own Pipboy, which works with a smart phone and app as a second screen to the game.
Build and Craft
You will be able to build and craft to your heart’s content in Fallout 4. And if you build it, they will come. The bigger your town the more visitors you’ll get along with traders and unfortunately, raiders. Almost every item in the game can be used to craft something else too!
Fallout Shelter
Fallout Shelter, another game where you can manage your own vault and its resident was announced by Bethesda and it is free to play and requires no internet! The game, is available now, for free, on iOS. Go download it!
Release Date
By far the most exciting part was the release date, which is coming much sooner than anyone anticipated this year on November 10th! I repeat, Fallout 4 will released on November 10th 2015! One for the early Christmas lists for sure!
