PlayStation Plus September 2015 – Instant Game Collection

During August subscribers were able to vote for one of three games they wanted included in PlayStation Plus for the first time. Grow Home beat Zombie Vikings and Armello to the top spot and is now available as part of September’s Instant Game Collection. Let’s take a look at what else is available.

Teslagrad – PS4 and PS3

Teslagrad is a 2D puzzle platformer with action elements, where you use magnetism and other electromagnetic powers to progress through the game and discover the secrets in the long abandoned Tesla Tower. Gain new abilities to explore a non-linear, hand-drawn world, inspired by visions of old Europe. You are a young boy who is on an epic quest, who must use the ancient power of the Teslamancers to defeat a despotic king.

Grow Home – PS4

In Grow Home, players are free to explore the strange, open world full of floating islands, majestic caves and waterfalls, all set in a beautiful and minimalist artistic style. Players take on the role of BUD (Botanical Utility Droid), an excitable, child-like robot sent on a mission to search the galaxy for a new species of plant that can oxygenate his home world. By growing and directing the giant Star Plant into a towering organic sculpture, players reshape the planet and create a magnificent landscape that lets them climb to new heights. The game’s unique climbing controls and abilities challenge players to continually reach for higher ground, but one wrong move and it’s a long way down!

super time force ultra

Super Time Force Ultra – PS4 and PS Vita

Super Time Force is an insane action game filled with robots and dinosaurs and fun and time travel! Sometimes all at the same time! Each member of the Super Time Force has their own special ability that makes them uniquely useful in battle. You also have a brain-punching, god-like power called time out! Time out lets you stop time and rewind back through what you just did! Then you can jump back into the action with a new character and play alongside your past self in the past, which is now the present…whoa. You can use time out to partner up with yourself in the good ol’ days of a few seconds ago, creating a veritiable army of you(s). You will probably die a lot in super time force. But dying is part of the strategizing, so don’t worry about it! When you die, you can just rewing time, add more firepower and go! Team up with yourself to save yourself & save the future/past/present! Super Time Force isn’t what would happen if Braid and Contra had a baby: Super Time Force is what would happen if Braid and Contra had a party!

Twisted Metal – PS3

High atop his penthouse office, a mysterious ringleader named Calypso lords over the contest of vehicle combat known as Twisted Metal. He returns again to host the ultimate contest of skill and destruction. Contestants have been chosen to compete and, should they emerge victorious, win whatever prize their heart desires.

lamulana ex

La-Mulana Ex – PS Vita

A long-lost legend stirs and the cradle of civilisation opens – it’s time to explore the ruins in La-Mulana EX. Grab your whip and venture inside the ancient ruins to fight monsters, spring traps and battle bosses on a quest to discover not just valuable treasure, but the secret to life itself! Players take control of Professor Lemeza Kosugi, a professor of archaeology whose family have long search for the fabled ruins of La-Mulana. A mysterious letter from Shawn Kosugi, Lemeza’s father, claiming to have found the ruins is all he needs to set off on a new adventure. But be warned! There’s a reason why the ruins have stayed undiscovered all this time and no-one who’s gone inside has ever come out…

Xeodrifter – PS4 and PS Vita

Xeodrifter puts players in the role of a galaxy traversing nomad whose ship becomes damaged and stranded in the dark void space. To rebuild his ship and go home, players will discover four sprawling planets, unlocking new abilities along the way to further their means of exploration, upgrade weapons, and become a more formidable threat to the dangerous inhabitants of these strange worlds.

Which of these will you be giving a go consumers? They’re available to download now for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
