Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Release Date Announced
Devolver Digital and Dennaton Games have announced that the highly anticipated sequel to the award-winning top-down shooter Hotline Miami will makes its way to PS4, Ps3, PS Vita, PC, Mac and Linux on March 10th. Both Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and the Digital Special Edition are now available to pre-order on Steam, GOG and Humble.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number is the final game in the Hotline Miami series, set in a brutal environment of violence and vengeance from the blood shed in the first game. In Wrong Number, play as different factions, each with their own agendas and techniques, as unforeseen consequences collide and reality slips into a brilliant haze of neon and bloodshed.
Fans can pre-order now to recieve 10% off Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and the Digital Special Edition which includes the exclusive Hotline Miami 2: Remix EP featuring six music tracks from the game remixed by M|O|O|N, Scattle and Carpenter Brut.
Dennaton Games and Devolver Digital have also teamed up with Overkill Software to offer exclusive new mask and a ‘Jacket’ character pack for PAYDAY 2, free to owners of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number and the Digital Special Edition.
Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will feature a level editor, for gamers who want to get creative and design their own murder scenes. They’ll be able to create a floor plan and place items, including furnishings, décor, weapons, and enemies armed with whatever tools you choose.
To bridge the gap between the original Hotline Miami and Wrong Number, Devolver Digital also teamed up with Dayjob Studio to create a series of five digital comics. The comics feature the backstory of Hotline Miami and characters which will be playable in Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number.
