Brick 2014 Is Coming! Get Ready Lego Fanatics!

Share with your fellow Consumers!

If you listen to either the 3 Bods Podcast or the spin off show across the pond on OneOfUs.net, you will know that I love me some Lego! I try to limit myself to only buying the really geeky stuff but I do wonder if I will be able to keep my impulsive behaviour under control when November comes round. A whole convention around Lego is taking place at the Excel London and I honestly cannot wait. Just picture it, a whole convention with nothing but shiny, colourful little bricks! It sounds like heaven to me.

So, instead of me boring you with how much I like Lego, I thought I would give you, the Consumers, the low-down on what is happening over the 4 days and where you can get your own tickets!

Brick is held at EXceL London from November 27th to 30th . The 4 day show will be packed with nothing but LEGO! You will be able to see a huge range of great LEGO features and also get building in the many pits of LEGO with literally tonnes to play with!

You’ll be able to see sets from the world’s best LEGO builders, get creative in the construction zones, experience LEGO games, and even meet the people from LEGO. If that isn’t enough, you’ll be able to get up close with dozens of life sized LEGO models, stock up on the newest & coolest models in a huge LEGO store and try out some mindblowing interactive features!

Also, do you fancy being a record breaker? You can take part in building a huge LEGO mosaic! At Brick 2014, you can help in the assembling of a massive LEGO mosaic using hundreds of thousands of bricks. It’s as simple as painting by numbers but the Brick team will need your help to create a small section of the mosaic. Over the 4 days of the show every visitor will be invited to create a small square of the picture and the expert team (oh I hope they are called Master Builders) will assemble them into a massive image. In 2012, their LEGO mosaic broke the Guinness World Record at 144 square meters – what will they manage this time?

Doesn’t this sound awesome? If you want to go, you can buy tickets right here. You can find their Facebook page here and their Twitter feed here. Some of the Need To Consume team are going, why not let us know if you are going in the comments below?
